Vermicomposting Notes

To help you make your own vermicompost bins we have created an easy to follow set of instructions that you can download below.

We also have the Croc’ Hunters on video showing you mates how to build a bin. Look under the “Keep Reading” prompt to find that video.

Vermicomposting Made Easy

Vermicomposting is composting with worms. We use Red Wiggler worms to create a mix of decomposing vegetables, fruits and other food waste, bedding materials, and vermicast or worm "poop". This compost is an excellent soil conditioner containing organic fertilizer, which performs much better in your garden than synthetic fertilizer.

This is an easy process that can be set up and maintained at home. In our first video, Croc' Hunters learn the benefits of vermicomposting. In the second video, the Croc' Hunters teach the little mates how to build their own worm bins.
